Laser Hair Removal

Is hair laser removal for me?
If you are concerned about unwanted hair, you are probably a good candidate for laser hair removal. Nearly everyone is a candidate for hair removal with the Cynosure laser. The most dramatic results occur for patients with light skin and dark hair. Other factors can influence the treatment process, and are evaluated during you initial consultation.

Is the procedure painful?
Most individuals experience no more than a slight stinging sensation. Some parts of the body do tend to be more sensitive than others, and sometimes redness or swelling will occur for a few hours afterwards.

How many treatments do I need?
Hair grows in cycles. The laser only affects hair when it is in it's early-growth phase. The laser will disable follicles that are actively producing hair at the time of treatment. At any time, some hair follicles are dormant. Repeat sessions will treat these follicles when they re-enter the growth phase.

What type of laser removal machines do we use?
We are using the Cynosure® Elite Laser System which has a 755 Alexandrite anda 1064 YAG wavelength, the most advanced technology available.
